TOYOTA TSUSHO INDONESIA established in 1990 with major shareholders is TOYOTA TSUSHO CORPORATION (Toyota Motor Group).
Our name in 1990 was TOYOTA TSUSHO ASTRA EXPORT (TTAE) which we used to solely supply for Toyota Astra Group for their automotive parts, also it was a joint venture company between TOYOTA TSUSHO and ASTRA.
In 1999, we changed name to TOYOTA TSUSHO EXPORT & IMPORT (TTEI) and since then we are a Foreign Investment Company.
In 2000, we merged with KASHO CO. LTD. (which is more focusing on Chemical and Food business)
In 2001, we changed name to our present name, PT. TOYOTA TSUSHO INDONESIA to represent that we are TOYOTA TSUSHO that located and supply trading in and out of Indonesia.
In 2006, To expand our business we merged with TOMEN Company (which is more focusing on Non-Automotive business such as chemical, energy, textile, and project planning). Right now TTI is a big company which business activities include export, import, and distribution of automotive component, metals, raw plastic, fabric, cotton, textile, machinery, food, oil and kerosene, computers as well as business consultation service.
