UKC Holdings was established in October, 2009, as a result of the management integration between USC and Kyoshin Technosonic, both of which were authorized distributors of Sony semiconductors. In order to cope with a rapid aggravation of the business environment brought about by the global recession starting from Lehman’s fall and a transformation of the industry structure, we quickly achieved a merger and started to make efforts to improve corporate value by effectively utilizing both resources, realizing synergistic effects, and implementing drastic structural reforms.
