TDK was founded in 1935 with the aim of commercializing the world's first magnetic material, “Ferrite”, invented by Tokyo Institute of Technology. It is based on the founder's desire to create unprecedented value and help the world. At that time, it was a challenge that could be said to be a “university-based venture company”, believing in the unknown possibilities of ferrite, whose use was unknown.

TDK has originality and high value through manufacturing that makes full use of the five core technologies of this ferrite-based material technology, process technology that brings out the characteristics of the material, evaluation / simulation technology, production technology, and product design technology. We have continued to create products that support social development. Today, TDK's product line extends to a wide variety of electronic components and devices such as capacitors, inductors, transformers, sensors, actuators, magnetic heads, magnets, power supplies, and batteries.

TDK (Thailand) Co., Ltd was established in 1991 and is a subsidiary of TDK Corporation. It's main business includes the Manufacturing of Audio Cassette Tape, Magnet and Support of VCM Assembly.
