Since the establishment of this company more than a century ago, we have grown mostly within Japan while expanding existing operations and adding new and expanding operations in response to the needs of the times.

The main operations in the construction field include the sales of cement and ready-mix concrete and the production, installation, and leases of gondolas. The energy field includes the sales of fuel oil and LP gas and the operation of gas stations. In the information system field, we offer system integration and sales of IT devices and image processing software. Other business operations of our companies include the cable TV business, operation of an ODA trading company, wind power generation business, car dealer business, and nursing and elderly care business.

Our business operations are currently focused on the Japanese market. In addition to the Japanese market, we will focus more on the global market where the population and demand are increasing. Since the purchase of a construction materials company in Singapore in 2013, we have expanded global business operations by purchasing a seasoning manufacturing and sales company in Vietnam and a gasket processing and sales company in Singapore. We are investing in the Pacific Rim regions, including Japan and Southeast Asia, as well as North America. Business fields where we are investing include the reinforcement of core operations, service businesses in major cities, strong companies with clear superiority in competitiveness, and the Internet-related or uniquely packaged software business in the IT field. We will also increase our business bases to further improve investment efficiency.

Through these operations, we intend to become a global corporate group that grows with the times.
